ODIN was not built by a software company that discovered the trades. It was built inside a union hall by someone who spent twenty-six years in it and got tired of watching the market slip while everybody worked harder.

Twenty-six years in Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 — from first-year apprentice through union organizer, business agent, and elected political director. He knows how trade bids are tracked and lost, how a business manager actually decides, and what an official needs in the field at 6 a.m. He built ODIN around the information he could not get when he was the one doing the job.

A multi-tenant platform in production, deliberately bootstrapped, full founder ownership.

Why it stayed bottom-up. A tool handed down from an International arrives as a mandate. A tool a local adopts because it can finally see its own numbers arrives as an advantage. ODIN was built for the second case — the local owns its data, and nothing it enters is pooled, sold, or shown to another hall.
